Kharibari, 03rd February: Residents have raised allegations of corruption in the road construction under the âAmader Para, Amader Samadhanâ project in Kauri Jote, Buraganj Gram Panchayat, Kharibari. A 300-meter paved road was reportedly started under the scheme, with the contractor completing work within a month.
However, locals complained that the entire road was not completed. They alleged that while the board mentioned 300 meters, it was later changed to 182 meters overnight, raising suspicions of malpractice. Residents expressed anger over the incomplete work and questioned the sudden changes to the project board.
