Rajganj, 19th June: Two people were injured in a road accident involving a pickup van and a lorry at Hati More area in Rajganj on Thursday. The injured include the driver and assistant driver of the pickup van.
According to local sources, the pickup van was travelling from Siliguri towards Jalpaiguri when it collided with a large freight truck crossing the road at Hati More. The impact left both occupants of the pickup van injured.

Soon after the incident, personnel from Rajganj Police Station and Rajganj Traffic Police arrived at the scene. The injured were promptly rescued and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police have seized the accident vehicles and launched an investigation into the incident.
