Cooch Behar, 25th February: An eleventh standard student, Mantu Sinha, was killed after being hit by a dumper truck in Cooch Behar. The deceased was a resident of Ambari in the Dinhata area.
It was reported that Mantu was on her way back home from school, during which a speeding dumper truck lost control and hit her, severely injuring her. The locals rescued the injured and rushed her to the Dinhata Sub-divisional hospital, where the doctors declared her dead. The Dinhata police have seized the dumper truck.
